Portrait of Star Wars actor Andy Serkis

I had the opportunity recently to photograph actor Andy Serkis for USA Today. Andy plays Snoke in The Force Awakens. 

As with most celebrity photo shoots I arrived early to the New York City hotel suite where the shoot was scheduled. This gave me time to figure out how I was going to photograph Andy and begin setting up my lights. 

Andy arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with.  Check out his computer assisted characters in Star Wars, Planet of the Apes and The Hobbit, really amazing stuff.
